SUMMARY:Pressed Flower Art Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Join Victoria for a gentle\, creative workshop where you can make beautifully decorated vases and cards using real pressed flowers.\nOn 18th Sept in The Old Courts Holding Cell\, we’ll be working with real blooms\, leaves and petals collected and pressed from the garden by us. There are so many colours\, shapes\, and sizes to choose from\, as well as paint to get creative if you’d like. \nYou’ll create your own pieces of art — from vases and tea light holders to colourful floral cards\, perfect to keep or give as a gift. This is a relaxed\, nature-based session\, inviting everyone to slow down\, be creative\, and enjoy the beauty of flowers.\nAll materials and tools are provided – and there’s a discount if you attended our previous flower press workshop – just get in touch! \nWhat’s included:\n\nAll real dried flowers\nChoice of either 2 tealight holders or a vase to decorate\, plus a card\nFull guidance and all materials & tools\n\nThere will also be a full bar with a range of drinks available during the session\, including soft drinks. \nVenue\nThe Holding Cell (Entrance through the Bailiff Bar at the bottom of the building)\, The Old Courts\, Gerrard Winstanley House\, Crawford Street\, Wigan\, WN1 1NA\nThere is free street parking nearby\nIt’s very close to Wigan bus station and Wigan train station. \nTickets\nTickets are £14 pp and will be available on 22nd August to book online here on this page\nPlease note the venue is age 18+\nThis event is hosted by The Community Patch CIC\, a local Wigan non-profit\, aiming to bring people together in nature and improve our green spaces for everyone. \n
