DESCRIPTION:Come and celebrate Halloween and the autumn season with us on Wednesday 22nd October at 5:30pm in the community garden. \nThis family-friendly evening will be full of autumn magic – with pumpkin carving\, a warming homemade soup\, and folk stories and songs around the campfire. The party will be held at our beautiful community garden in Beech Hill\, so remember to wrap up warm and dress for the weather. \nIt’s the perfect way to spend the season together\, creative\, cosy\, and a little spooky. \nThe event is free\, but booking is essential to make sure we have enough pumpkins and soup for everyone. Please just book a place for your kids (or whoever wants to do a pumpkin) \nWe will also have a shelter in case of rain! \nSt Anne’s Community Garden\, Beech Hill\, Wigan\, WN6 7TA \nThere is an option to make a donation with your ticket\, if you would like to\, but it’s optional. It would contribute to our community work in the area\, paying for plants\, seeds\, tools and helping to fund more free events.

SUMMARY:Step Into Nature - Guided Woodland Walk
DESCRIPTION:We’re launching a free monthly guided woodland walk – Step Into Nature. \nThe first walk together is 24th Oct\, 10am at Standish Wood Lane\, Beech Hill (what 3 words is ///orbit.surely.farmer) and will be lead by Victoria – we’ll gentlly enjoy the sights and sounds of this beautiful woodlands through the seasons. \nStarting in Beech Hill\, we’ll explore local woodlands and enjoy the sights and sounds of the seasons. A perfect way to get outdoors\, meet new friends\, and discover hidden corners of our local green spaces. The walk is approximately 2 miles along with some uneven paths\, and is free to attend. \nFrom Nov\, it will be the 4th Friday of each month at 10am. The starting point may alter very slightly month to month\, but we will make sure to update you. \nBooking is preferred\, but not necessary. It’s just so we know to wait for you.
