Get ready to learn the art of preserving beautiful blooms in a unique way.\nThis relaxing and creative workshop is perfect for anyone looking to add a touch of nature to their art and crafts. Explore the beautiful community garden with full guidance on selecting the right flowers and how to press for best results. It’s all beginner-friendly.\nThis is such a calming activity\, we can’t wait to share this with you.\nWe then conclude the session by carefully placing your chosen flowers in the press\, ready to be used for art\, display\, or whatever you like within 4 weeks.\nIt’s just £14 pp\, and the cost of the ticket also includes keeping your flower press forever.\nWe will also be hosting a pressed flower art session later this summer\, so keep checking for updates if you’d like to join us again to create your own floral design with the flowers you’ve pressed.\nPlease note\, this event needs to be a dry day\, so if it’s going to rain during the session\, we will need to postpone. SUMMARY:Gardening Together Sunday Session
DESCRIPTION:Join us in the community garden on the last Sunday of each month for our weekend session – 12 – 3pm\, for some company and gentle movement in the outdoors. \nAt the community garden\, we tend to several raised beds\, borders\, a greenhouse\, fruit trees\, and a wildlife pond together. We grow all kinds of fruit and veg\, and there is often produce or plants to take home at the end of a session. \nThere are always plenty of different jobs to do and things to learn. Anyone is welcome to attend – just show up\, there’s no need to book\, and no skills are required as all training and tools are provided. \nChildren and families are always welcome. We’ve got garden toys and always invite young people to join in with planting and garden jobs if they want. \nPlease dress for the weather – sessions always go ahead unless it’s pouring with rain.
