We’re hosting another beautiful set of creative, nature-based workshops for this in-between season between Winter and Spring. The sessions all focus on friendly, interesting and creative spaces to try something new. In spring, we’ll do more outdoors, but for now we’re staying cosy in the Old Courts & The Barkley Tavern, both close to Wigan centre.
Using a mix of natural materials, found textures, paper and imagery, you will create a beautiful collage inspired by the seasons.
Learn how to make your own lip balm and a soothing chamomile sugar scrub using natural ingredients in our beginner-friendly workshop.
You will make your own rosemary hair tonic, proven to improve scalp health and stimulate growth, to take home, using natural ingredients and a simple technique.
Learn how to support your body naturally during hayfever season. Discover which herbs help calm inflammation and ease symptoms – making a balm to take home.
If you have any requests for future workshops – is there something you really want to learn about gardening, herbs or creativity and nature, please get in touch, we love messages. You can see the full list of our events, including walks and community gardening, on the events section of our website.

Thank you for booking workshops with us, any extra money goes to hosting free sessions with families and getting people together in our community garden.
Welcome to the blog! We want to make it a valuable resource and easy for anyone new to biodiversity, wildlife gardening in the community, to learn quickly and feel they can do something positive.
