Caring for Winter Wildlife – Workshop

Join us for a fun workshop all about how we can help care for British wildlife during these cold winter months. On 27th Jan at St Anne’s Community Centre, in Beech Hill, Wigan, Victoria and Ali will be leading this hands-on workshop, where we’ll look at everyday animals such as birds, hedgehogs, and more, as well as the littlest creatures like insects. Together, we’ll explore their habitats and needs during winter and share ways we can help support them.
Recommended age is 8+ (children must be accompanied), it’s suitable for families and adults who are interested in learning more. This is a beginner-friendly session – and you’ll leave with practical tips for actions you can take at home and a guide to keep.
We’ll also make an eco-friendly pine cone bird feeder to take home.
If tickets sell out please add yourself to the waiting list to be notified.
If you’re booking more than 1 space, please just add the main details (email etc) to the first attendee, and only add names for the rest of the tickets.
This event is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund as part of a year-long programme of environmental events in Wigan Borough, helping us support community action and care for local green spaces.
