Please join us to continue our project to make Diggle Street Park beautiful for people and pollinators. We took a little break for the summer, but now we’re back now autumn is approaching.
On 21st Sept at 10am, we’ll start creating our 4th flower bed in the park, and we really need your help!
We will be digging out the flower bed and planting a variety of flowers and plants chosen for their resilience, beauty, and appeal to birds and insects.
All tools are provided, plus refreshments and full guidance. If you are staying all day, bring some lunch. You don’t need to stay the whole time, or arrive at 10am.
Children are welcome with adult supervision.
We’ve already got seating installed, planted a native hedgerow, 3 flower beds and, more recently, a community orchard with The Orchard Project.
